16. After kicking the city so much you deserve a reward: give yourself a binge (or at least test) with the Godiva chocolates, one of the most famous luxury chocolate brands in Belgium. And where better than in his first store (opened in 1926) located in the Grand Place.

It's a bit of a freak, but if you travel with children it's a good plan. 21. The MIM (Museum of Musical Instruments) It is not a place only suitable for music crazies, it is also one of the most interesting Art Nouveu buildings in Belgium and also offers beautiful views from the restaurant on the top floor. It costs € 10. (More info).

22. One of the most typical dishes of Brussels are the moules-frites (mussels with french fries). They say the best are those of Chez Leon. (More info about menu and prices).

23. Tour the Royal Palace It is a good way to be entertained for a few hours. The royal family has not used it as a residence since 1831, but if you are interested in history, you cannot miss it. (Eye: it can only be visited in summer from July 22 to September 3, and it's free).

24. On leaving you can walk through the Brussels park, the green lung of the city. Without a doubt, one of the most relaxing places to see in Brussels!

25. Although Our favorite park is the Cinquantenaire, with its impressive arch of triumph that reminds (much) of the Brandenburg gate of Berlin, and with its beautiful gardens and museums (Military History, Autoworld and Museum of the Basinntennial).

27. One of the places we remember with more affection is the Botanical Garden. In addition to its beautiful gardens and walks, it stands out for its huge glazed building and for its significant dome. 29. 25 km north of Brussels is theBreendonk concentration camp, one of those terrifying places where to learn more about the horror of the IIGM and its atrocities. The building is an old fort that was occupied by the Nazis and used as a prison. To get there you can take the train and get off at Willebroek Station and then walk 20 minutes. You can also join a tour like this that includes a visit to the concentration camp and the cities of Willebroek and Mechelen.
