Another great place to tapas. It is located in the Plaza de la Merced and if you want to do a tapas tour, you can not miss it. Stay at the bar and order a couple of drinks, accompanied by their corresponding tapas. Good service, quality food and very nice atmosphere. One tip: the tuna in sauce It is one of the jewels of the letter (cover: € 2.10, half portion: € 4). If you prefer to eat something more blunt, the grilled pulpit (€ 6.5) and the garlic cod (€ 11) They look great.

A simple but very peculiar place: they make a kind of dish auction, come on, the waiters come out with the dishes, sing them and the first interested person asks for it by raising his hand. In the end, they tell the dishes that you have left and make the count. The portions cost € 7. And yes, there is also spit! Something is far from the center of Malaga, but if you are in the area, do not even think about it!

And speaking of spit… Chiringuito Maria is one of the places to eat some of the best grilled sardines from Málaga (and this is already known by characters like Julio Iglesias). It is not the cheapest but they are very famous. Price: € 8
