We have already told you that in Vancouver we were very, very good. We liked it for many things and the gastronomic scene is one of them (we are that fat). In such a cosmopolitan city we could only hope for an immense ethnic offer and that was the case. In the same street you find Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Mexican, Italian restaurants and there is no shortage of poutines ... obviously, you are in Canada 😉 Come on, if you like to try kitchens from different parts of the world, you will love it. In this post we tell you 5 Restaurants where to eat in Vancouver well and cheap.

We discovered this tiny thai restaurant On our way to our hostel and it was a great find! As soon as you enter and smell the curry spices, it is not difficult to teleport to Thailand. We ask for a massaman curry (very rich and very little spicy, as I like hehe but you can order spicy if you prefer) and a cashew chicken. Both very rich. Price per plate: 10CAD approx.

While we were walking through the beautiful neighborhood of Yaletown we were struck by its crowded terrace and, like a sushi we never say no, we approached to see if they had offers of “lunch special" what if. Thank you my God. In fact they have a few offers (prices between 10 and 15CAD). We decided on a bento He had salmon teryaki with rice, shrimp tempura, potato, zucchini and carrot and 5 california rolls. We also ask for a sushi combo with a total of 12 pieces. Everything is served with salad and miso soup. Total price, with 32CAD rates and tips.

Oh my * _ * dumplings of my loves. What delight. If you are looking Vancouver's best dumplingsYou will probably find them here. Many thanks to Tita, a former co-worker in Vancouver, for discovering this place. Try the Dinesty Steamed Pork Soup Dumpling and also order a couple of dishes of dumplings to share.

advice: at midday they have a main course offer + dumplings + dessert for 15CAD. More info.

Tita also recommended the Bao Bei, a restaurant of modern Asian food that apparently is exquisite (I completely trust your tastes!). We caught something away so we did not go, but I leave because I am convinced that it is very worthwhile. Average price per person: 30CAD approx.

If you are looking Something cheaperDo not worry there are a few options ... throughout the city we saw several restaurants with a fixed price menu: 5.95CAD! The change is less than € 4 and yes, toooodo costs the same. There are pasta dishes, salads, hamburgers, poutine and much more. We decided to try this place and it was cool, it's like a brewery (and when we went there was a super squeaky drunk uncle who in the end became close friends with another XD client). If you want to be calm, you better stay at the entrance tables 😉

¿Tacos and beer? It is your site and more if it is happy hour! When tacos only cost 1.49CAD (minimum order of 3 and drink, beer costs $ 5). And when is happy hour? From 15 to 18. They have terracita, yes, small. Inside the music is strong… Notice if you are there wanting to chat 😉
