This trip to Scotland in 11 days for free took us to tour for free with a rental car one of the most incredible nations of the United Kingdom. Scotland is a land of castles, abbeys, lakes, waterfalls, it is full of dreamlike landscapes that you can enjoy traveling by rental car and being able to stop at the place with the most incredible views.
We flew from Girona airport to Glasgow airport, where we picked up the rental car and after visiting the city, we went to Ayr, where we stayed the first night of the trip to Scotland in 11 days.
On the second day we will visit Dundonald Castle, Bothwell Castle and Stirling, which will serve us as accommodation this second day.
On the third day of the trip to Scotland in 11 days we will meet Doune Castle, Callender, Trossachs, Balmaham Lake Lomond, Luss, Inverary, Bowane Iron Furnace, Dunstaffnage Castle and Oban, where we stayed.
The fourth day of our trip arrives and we will meet Oban, Glancoe, Fort Williams and from there we take a ferry to discover the incredible Isle of Skye, where we visit Armadale Castle, the Neist Point area, Dunvegan, Duntulm, Old Man of Storr and Portree where we spend the night.
We arrive at the equator of the trip to Scotland for free and go to Dornie, to continue towards one of the most famous locations in Scotland, Elian Donan Castle, where we enjoy the visit as children.
From here we follow Victoria Falls, Maree Lake, Inverewe Gardens, Wwe Lake, Measach and Inverness waterfalls, where we sleep.
On the sixth day of travel, we call another of the strengths of this trip to Scotland in 11 days, Loch Ness and its Urquhart Castle. We continue to meet Fort George, Fort Augustus, Los Cairgorm, Glenfiddish, Elgin Cathedral and Huntly, where we stayed.
The seventh day arrives and we go to Aberdeem, we visit Dunnotar Castle, Crathes Castle, Fraser Castle, Kildrummy Castle, Balmoral and Blairgowie, where we sleep.
On the eighth day we meet Glamis Castle, Arbroath Abbey, Dundee, St. Andrews, Culross and we arrive in Edinburgh, where we will spend the rest of the trip to Scotland in 11 days.
One of the days we escaped to see the Roslin Chapel, Melrose Abbey and Dryburgh Abbey.
