The fastest way to go from London to Stonehenge It is by train from London Waterloo station, connected to the Northern, Bakerloo, Jubilee, City and Waterloo metro lines.
When you arrive at the station you must take the South Western Railway line that leaves every hour from 6:30 and leaves you in Salisbury in an hour and a half.

How to get to Stonehenge by bus

The cheapest way to go from London to Stonehenge is to take a bus from the National Express company that leaves from Victoria Station and from Heathrow Airport for a price starting at 10 pounds, reserving them in advance.
The bus will leave you in about two hours at Salisbury station or in the Amesbury town, located 2.5 miles walk from Stonehenge. If you don't want to walk more than half an hour to get to Stonehenge, you can take a taxi or the public bus (not operational on Sundays).
Buses do not have as much frequency as trains and it may be a good option to sleep in Salisbury, if you want to visit this city with more tranquility.
